Slot Requirement:
Slots are not required and not available at any airport in Bangladesh.
Pushback Requirement:
Pushback is mandatory at most airports. Pilots are advised to carry a tow-bar on board.
Permit Notice Period:
- Ambulance & Relief Flights: On-sight approval available
- PPR Airports: All international airports in Bangladesh are PPR
- Traffic, Non-Traffic, Overflights: 4 working days’ notice
- Series of Non-Scheduled Flights: 15 working days’ notice for landing clearance
International Airport Overview
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (VGHS/DAC)
Overview:
The largest airport in Bangladesh. Open 24/7 with full CIQ (Customs, Immigration & Quarantine) facilities.
Slot not required. PPR applies.
Crew Visa:
Not required if the crew stays less than 72 hours; General Declaration (GD) suffices for CIQ.
Fuel:
24-hour fuel service available via fuel nomination through Padma Oil Company Limited.

Overview:
Second largest airport in Bangladesh, located in the port city of Chattogram.
Operational hours: 0001 UTC to 1700 UTC daily. Slot not required. PPR applies.

Not required for stays under 72 hours; General Declaration accepted.
Fuel:
Available via fuel nomination.

Osmani International Airport (VGSY/ZYL)
Overview:
Third international airport, located in Sylhet, North-East Bangladesh.
Limited CIQ and handling capacity. Slot not required. PPR applies.
Crew Visa:
Not required if stay is under 72 hours with General Declaration.
Fuel:
No regular international refueling service. Max 1800 liters may be transferred from VGHS (Dhaka), subject to prior approval.
